Hi, I´m Lauren and am from Ireland. I´ve been working in Speakeasy since March 2016. I am a graduate of Trinity College Dublin where I studied European Studies with a year abroad in the south of France. I speak French and Spanish and am enthusiastic about all things language-related. Before coming to Chile I took my TEFL certificate in Galway Ireland, where I had my first teaching job. I have experience teaching general and business English to both group and 1-1 classes.

Hi, I´m Katie and am a British teacher with a CELTA qualification from International House in Seville, Spain and 18 months’ teaching experience in London and Santiago. I´ve been with Speakeasy since April 2016 and teach general and business English as well as exam preparation for TOEFL. I also have more than three years’ professional experience in public relations and a first class degree from Durham University, specialising in English Literature and History. I speak native English and a steadily increasing amount of Spanish!

I am a teacher from Oxford, England with a CELTA qualification (Pass A) from International House in Barcelona. I have been teaching English on and off for the past four years. I have experience teaching in a classroom setting as well as individual classes, both General and Business English. I speak native English and advanced Spanish (I was born in La Paz, Bolivia). I studied History at Cambridge University where I received both a Masters degree and a Bachelors (First Class).

I'm a British-Swiss teacher and I got my CELTA teacher qualification at the Britanico in Santiago. I speak English, Spanish and French, and I love languages, people and new experiences. My teaching experience has been Business English 1-1 classes, group classes, and conversation. I am a fun, dynamic teacher and I really care about my students!

I am a Republic of Ireland national with over twelve years of experience teaching English in Ireland, Italy, Argentina, Bolivia and Chile and have been working for Speakeasy since 2009. I have a CELTA Pass A which I obtained in Buenos Aires, and an A grade TEFL certificate awarded in Ireland. I also speak several languages at varying levels. I and also have experience in Spanish to English translation. At weekends, I work as a tour guide with my own guided tour company.

I received a TEFL certification in Santiago, and have experience working as an English teacher in various business sectors throughout the metropolitan region of Santiago. I also have experience as a translator and interpreter, English to Spanish, and Spanish to English.
